Learning the Meaning of Moistache

Today as I was getting ready to workout I get a loud knock on my door. When I opened it up some random guy was there next to Winston.

Me: Hey...?
Guy: Are you Caitlin?
Me: Yeah...
Guy: You got an Edible Arrangement!
Me: (confused) But I didn't order one...
Guy: Well somebody got ya one!
Me: No...
Guy: See, this is why I love this job. The look on people's faces when they get an edible arrangement, it's great! Yes YOU got an edible arrangement!

At this point I'm incredibly confused and then I see Winston standing next to him staring me down and I thought, "Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Did Winston send me this? My life can't possibly be this awkward, it just can't." So I have this horrified look on my face and the guy was like "Sign and date right here." So I did and then he hands me the box and says, "Open the card and you'll find out who it is!"

It was from Julia! She's the best! And what a relief it was not Winston. I had skyped her on Sunday saying things were a little apples and bacraycray, and she sent me a "Sorry things have been a little apples and bacraycray, but enjoy some apples and bananas!" Best old roommate ever. And everything was dipped in chocolate, which is always amazing.

Yesterday Paige and I went to the Comedy Bang Bang live show at the Highline Ballroom. It was so fun! The place was pretty nice too. We sat, ordered some food, and enjoyed some comedy. The half of the show was each person doing standup. The lineup included Kurt Braunohler, Scott Aukerman, Tim Heidecker, and James Adomian (he was hysterical). The second part of the show they recorded their live show for the podcast, and that is when SNL's Bobby Moynihan joined.

At the end Paige of course really really wanted a t-shirt, and she wanted a picture with Scott Aukerman. I really don't like doing that sort of thing, because I don't want to appear sycophant-ish. At that point I was thinking "Why did I ever introduce her to Comedy Bang Bang? She's becoming obsessive even though she's only seen like five episodes and has never listened to the podcast..." He was super nice, and not a lot of people stuck around, it was low key. So now I have this tender pic with comedy writer extraordinaire Scott Aukerman. I guess Paige's obsessive tendencies can be used for good.
