So I realize it's been a while since I've blogged, but that's because I'm so LAME. Like seriously, I do nothing with my life. I'll give you a little bit of a diary since the last time I've blogged.
- Discovered a monthly bra website. I like the idea. Bought one, hopefully it works out.
- Discovered I can balance a cup on my chest.
- Realized I am a crier. Everything is really hunky dory in my life, and I'm completely happy with everything. Yet, reading a proposal story on Pinterest made me cry. When Lori on Say Yes to the Dress announced she had breast cancer I cried. Watching The Baby Wait on Logo made me cry several times. Chopped an onion and cried. Well...the last one was not from emotion.
-Speaking of onions I'm a baller cook. Made cheese soup and snickerdoodle cobbler. Also I make a fantastic hot chocolate, with nestle marshmallow mix, vanilla creamer, cinnamon, and half a Ghiradelli truffle square.
- This was me watching the election prior to the winner being announced:
- My creepy professor in public speaking said to me "It is an extremely pleasing experience listening to you speak." Gross. At least my class enjoyed the fact that I ended with a quote from Lizzie Maguire.
- In a class we each went around and said how we were affected by Hurricane Sandy. Everyone had a really bad story about how they were homeless, no power, etc. I was the last one to go. "Umm...I had power the whole time, a ton of food, and I watched RuPaul's Drag Race during the hurricane." Awkward.
- Found my dream wedding dress. It's purdy.
- Alyssa texted me about a show called Extreme Cougars. And I realized that all I want to watch on tv is a wedding special between Mama June and Sugar Bear. This is how I would imagine it to be: June would wear a velour sweat suit with Mrs. Sugar Bear bedazzled on the butt. She would wear socks and sandals, and her socks would have a pedicure on them. They would have sketti for their reception, and an elvis impersonator would marry them. This would take place during their Christmas in July thing, hence why Elvis would be there. I don't know who would take Sugar Bear's place as Santa, but they would donate what they got as wedding presents to whatever charity they choose. They would go four wheeling later with a Just Married sign attached to the back. They would get married in the back yard with the train passing by. The girls would obviously be the bridesmaids, and glitzy would be the ring bearer. TLC NEEDS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
- Today has been windy and snowy. I had to take a cab to institute, and we drove down fifth avenue and I realized how much I love NYC. This is the view currently from my apartment window:
See? I'm so lame.
Heck yeah on the TLC June and Sugar Bear wedding thing but they would have to do a say yes to the dress episode and end up with the track suit and of course a say yes to the bridesmaid episode too. They could so milk it. The snow may look good now but report about it oh say middle of jan to feb and see how you like it.
ReplyDeleteNow about that cup balancing act.....Really get a roommate
