It's official, I am now a resident of the Upper East Side. I have seriously lived in the best locations, with truly quirky apartments. This apartment is no exception. But I'm excited, because there are doors and that's all that mattered to me.
I feel so relieved to be done with the move, I've finished most of my unpacking. It's now a matter of doing laundry and going to Ikea so get some furniture and storage stuff.
Last night Charlye came over and helped me put stuff away. We went out to this really good Asian restaurant around the corner. This was my fortune:

So we came back to my apartment and I had a couple of huge wardrobe boxes and Charlye was like "Can I get in one?" And of course I said yes, and then she was like "Oo! Draw a body or something!" Luckily I had just unpacked some markers. This is my doodle:

Also in my move from Chelsea I didn't see Winston. He completely avoided me. It was so sad. My new super is named Ivan, he seems nice - he changed my locks yesterday.
Now I need to take care of some of the homework I neglected to do in this moving process. Let's see if I can read all of The Scarlet Letter and do a write up tonight.
