Light Pink Boxing Gloves

Hello everyone!

So I'm sure at this point, no one reads this anymore. So it's kinda like a fresh start. I can post a million things, and no one will probably read them.

While bloggable things have happened, lately I just post a quick status about it on facebook. I know, super lame.

So a recap of things that have happened:

-I passed my colloquium - yay!
-Paige got married - yay!
-School has been stressful, but I'm doing well in all of my classes - yay!

But the biggest thing that has happened is: last week I joined a boxing gym. Yes, a boxing gym.

Boxing is hard! Like I have never been so sore. Today was only my third class. But I walk in and they are filming. You guys, I looked SO bad. I'm on my period, no makeup, fugly clothing, and cockatiel hair. I thought they were just filming a quick promo, because when I walked in the gym the instructor was in the ring with some guy talking and they were filming some quick thing. But no, they decide to film the entire class. And where do they put the main student they're following? Right next to me. Basically, I'm sure I rendered the entire footage unusable with how bad I looked and how out of shape I am. And then home girl instructor does some one on one with me and the cameras are all up on me and I'm like seriously? They captured some major red face and boob sweat. 

But anyway, boxing is such an amazing workout, and I really love it. I have never done so many burpees, jump squats, lunges, pushups, and jumping jacks. You are sore as soon as class ends. Also my hope is to have as many rap songs as possible memorized in the next six weeks, because that's what we listen to. 

Switching from boxing, my next big life change is wearing red lipstick. Silly, I know, but I LOVE it. I'm wondering why I haven't been doing this forever.

Other things that have happened...

Julia and I carved pumpkins. Mine is Casper. 

Julia and I were also riding on the subway and this guy came on and was doing magic tricks. (Not the same guy from a few months back). But this guy blows up this huge animal balloon, but keeps it in the worm shape. It's like 4 feet long. HOME BOY STICKS THE WHOLE THING DOWN HIS THROAT. No joke, it was the most disturbing/fascinating thing to watch. Like what happened? Does he have this fully inflated balloon inside of him. Is it sitting in the back of his throat? It was 4 feet long, like I can't even deal. 

I baked the most delicious pumpkin sugar cookies. They came out pillowy and I tweaked the glaze so it had cinnamon, butter, milk, and nutmeg. They were delicious.
