So school is good and all that jazz. We're on week two, and I went to orientation for my internship today. During orientation I signed a "I can't blog about any of this ish" form, so sorry guys, you don't get to hear any of that stuff, except in vague terms. Just know that I'm excited, and the people seem really cool.
I was looking over my syllabi for this semester, and for one class I have to do a three minute stand up comedy routine. What. And it's happening the week after the half marathon. Yikes.
Also I have to write a few specs scripts this year (an original script for a hot show currently on air). I'm feeling The Mindy Project, Veep, Raising Hope (maybe) or Suburgatory (which means I'd actually have to watch that one) but I am open to suggestions if anyone has them. Please note I only want comedies, and nothing that's over three seasons - which means NO Big Bang Theory or Modern Family.
My amusing story for today: I was doing dishes and kinda straightening up the kitchen when I see this (what I believe to be) crumpled paper towel. I grab the towel intending to throw it away when I feel something hard. I open it and THERE is Julia's retainer. It reminded me of Maigan always setting hers out on the table sans paper towel and even though her ortho told her to stop wearing that scuzzy thing she kept wearing it. Gross.
