The Chocolate Bunny That Wouldn't Die.

First sentence. Awesome, that's out of the way. So I'm new to this whole "blogging"thing, in fact I swore to myself I'd never get one. That was until the chocolate bunny that wouldn't die. As this is the week after Easter I have chocolate - lots of chocolate. Not only do I have lots of chocolate, but I've also eaten lots of chocolate. It's like this bunny regenerates itself and I just keep gnawing on it's ear. One of the side effects of me over indulging is wanting to do something with myself. Lately I've been feeling a little blah, and while eating the bunny I thought "I'm going to start a blog!"

So here's my blog. Who knows if I'll stick with it, but maybe it'll motivate me to do fun things and have exciting experiences to talk about. Or maybe it'll be like this first post, talking about how I have no self control around Easter candy. If anything I can keep my family posted on what I'm doing. Even though, let's be real, my Mom will be my only reader and even then there will be eye rolling and switching over to Twitter to follow my other sisters.

This week I've only done one exciting thing thus far and that was my first trip to the Bronx. Last night I went bowling with some of my Deaf friends, and it was pretty awesome. I texted Maigan, telling her I was in the Bronx and she said "That's muh girl. [The Bronx] is my roots." It took like two hours to get there, and the area we were in resembled a truck stop. We went to this (what I thought to be) obscure bowling place. Turns out it was the local hotspot and we had to wait until ten to get a lane.

I really suck at bowling without bumpers and Luis was trying to coach me on how to do it: don't look at the pins look at the lines, bowl straight, move to the right, no move to the left, granny roll? It was bad. But it was really great practicing my sign. Digression: One of the guys there had kids and his daughter said to me, "I love nachos. I could eat nachos every day. I think they would be healthy for me." And I thought, that's exactly how I feel about Taco Bell's Doritos Locos...

Anyway, it was really fun, and now I can say that I've been to the Bronx.
